Measuring Made Easy:
Use the sizing chart and diagrams below as a guide. It has been designed to make an accurate selection as simple as possible.

Print out this page for your convenience.

A Few Rules:

  1. Use a cloth measuring tape.
  2. If possible, have another person do the measuring to ensure accuracy.
  3. Take measurements wearing your duty uniform with a t-shirt and your duty belt on.
  4. Do not over or under measure. Measurements that are too large or too long can result in armor that's uncomfortable and possibly unwearable.

While standing, measure under the arms, around the back and across the shoulder blades, and around the widest part of the chest.

Circle your chest measurement and the corresponding size in the center column on the Worksheet to the right.

See Example in Step 4.
While standing, measure above the duty belt around the back and across the widest part of the stomach. Stand relaxed; do not suck in your gut.

Circle your abdominal measurement and the corresponding size in the center column on the Worksheet to the right.

See Example in Step 4.
While sitting, measure from the notch at the top of the sternum down to the top of the duty belt.

Circle the LENGTH on the Worksheet above: S (short), R (regular), L (long) or XL (extra long), which corresponds to your measurement in inches.
Choose the size from "SELECT ONE" pull-down menu before proceeding to check-out.
