The Most Protective High Performance Extrication Glove Available.

The Multi-layer design provides exceptional cut, puncture and heat resistance while all outer materials are naturally flame resistant unlike other gloves on the market. The use of 100% Kevlar® high burst thread throughout keeps the multiple layers firmly bound together.

Breathable polyurethane barrier provides resistance against blood borne pathogens providing infection control while keeping hands dry. A comfortable 50% Kevlar® /50% cotton blend inner liner provides additional cut resistance, supports extreme flexibility, dexterity and grip while reducing hand fatigue during long missions. All the inner liners are sewn in and bonded at the finger tips. A heat resistant hook and loop wrist closure with Kevlar® piping seals out the elements.

Features:
  • Knitted Kevlar®/Modacrylic Cuff with Hook & Loop
  • Flame Resistant 50% Kevlar®/ 50% Modacrylic Outer Layer
  • Rubberized Kevlar® Knuckle Guard
  • Padded Rubberized Kevlar® Palm
  • Digitized Padded Leather Reinforcement Layers
  • Rubberized Kevlar® Palm-Side Finger Protection
  • 50% Kevlar® and 50% Cotton Inner Liner
  • Kevlar® Piping on Cuff
  • Kevlar® Thread Throughout
Digitized leather fingertips and ribbed knuckles on the fingers’ backside allow for excellent flexibility. The durable rubberized Kevlar® palm is water resistant and reinforced with digitized leather. The unique multi-layered flexible rubberized Kevlar® along with an additional layer of neoprene and silicon carbide makeup the glove’s knuckle guard system. Together these features highlight the level of safety and protection featured of this glove.

Manufactured in an ISO 9001:2008 compliant factory, the Pro-Tech 8 gloves are specifically designed and constructed for hand protection during structural firefighting activities. The component materials will withstand the effects of flame, heat, vapor, hazardous liquids, sharp objects and other hazards encountered during structural firefighting operations.

    Wish they fit!

I really wished these fit better because I love the unique design. The fingers on the small size were too long by about 1/2"". I don't have unusally short fingers, so was disappointed when they didn't fit.

    Very Durable

I use this both at my career and volunteer departments, and they have held up to the test after a year of use. I do not use it to hold any lights, as I have a brim-mount helmet light, however I use it to hold several wedges. With other helmet bands, I tend to notice tearing and stretch marks, which lead to full failures, however I have yet to notice any on mine. It also helps that the flashlight holes can be used as a reference to make sure the band is evenly stretched out.
