This case fits very loosely to the radio compared to other cases I’ve used. Especially around where the mic connects to the radio it is very flimsy. And the top clip that prevents the radio from sliding out is too big. The cord is too big no matter what you do. I can understand if this is a universal radio case but it’s not. It was specifically made for the NX series. I feel like Boston Leather could have done better on those aspects of the case. Aside from that this case allows full access to the front panel of the radio. It leaves the buttons and screen extremely exposed but that’s a flaw by Kenwood not Boston leather. If you want a case that allows full access to buttons and the screen on the NX series this is really your own option.
