Details

The Arson-Trash Hook was developed to find hidden fire in deep seated smoldering fires usually found in dumps or dumpsters.

The normal hook just won't pull trash in large quantities. This trash hook's two large six inch pointed prongs will grasp debris in huge chunks.

Manufactured in-house incorporating stainless steel wear sleeves welded to steel supported prongs, attached to solid fiberglass with sanded celtex grips and finally an alloy "D" handle.
  • 2 large 6" pointed prongs
  • Fiberglass or steel pole
  • Straight end, Ram Knob end or D-Handle
The normal six foot trash hook is recommended. The 40" Arson-Trash Hook is recommended to be used in close quarters. This model is small enough to be placed in the trunk of an automobile. This hook will also aid police narcotic personnel in their search for illegal drugs during raid operations.

Please Note: Special handling fees will added to your cart for these items. The 8' & 10' length cannot ship via UPS or Fedex and requires Truck shipment. There is a special handling fee for the 8' & 10' hooks. These items are excluded from shipping promotions.

    HOT GARBAGE!

Posted by Verified Buyer on Jul 1st 2024

Total garbage. This is a 3 piece hook. This hook is very flimsy and breaks easily. WE have already broken 2 in my small department doing training. The D ring handle isn't even turned the right way. These come on our new trucks and they get put right into the training shed or trash. DO NOT USE!

    Shipping is absurd

Good hook, but shipping cost is very high. I guess that's the cost of doing business.

    8' Trash Hook

This is the best tool on the ladder truck for pulling plywood board ups from windows and doors. 8 ft gives the reach, (longer is too whippy-like spaghetti-with the fiberglass shaft), the D-handle ensures the grip, and the steel tines stand up to being swung directly into the wood. Great for raking through the window frame and glass behind the plywood as well. This tool always gets my consideration for an outside vent or roof vent job. Great for clearing the hole on a flat roof, and pushing down ceilings, (with the D-handle end)
