Exactly what a first responder needs.

This excellent addition to the EXT Rescue® Series addresses one of the most common complaints about barrier gloves – the liner pulling out. Because the liner in the EXT Rescue® 4014 is sewn-in, it won’t pull out. No more struggling to get your hands back in your gloves.

  • Interior layer of SuperFabric® brand material in the palm provides ISEA Level 5 cut resistance.
  • Waterproof H2X™ barrier lining passes ASTM F1670/F1671 requirements and meets OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen Standards (29CFR 1910.1030).
  • Interior liner is sewn-in, so it won’t pull out when you remove the glove
  • Durable TP-X® palm material is highly abrasion resistant, provides a strong grip.
  • Superior back-of-hand impact protection prevents smash injuries.
  • Reinforced index finger and thumb saddle extends glove life.
  • SlipFit® cuff with VELCRO® brand® closure provides great fit and easy on and off between calls.
  • Machine washable.

In addition, the 4014 is comfortable, highly-protective, and meets OSHA requirements for bloodborne pathogen resistance. It’s made with SuperFabric® brand material in the palm, giving you Level 5 cut and puncture resistance, so you can handle broken glass and twisted metal with confidence.

Purpose-built to give you everything you need, this is the safest glove out there for fire and rescue responders.

Works great in saltwater, even though years.

I like these gloves. I've used the same set for 2 seasons diving spiny lobster in southern cal. I've paid more for gloves that last a month or 2, so the price is worth it. The liner on these is suspect, as the other reviews say. Left held up, right has failed. I need a poker to get the fingers right. I've also broke a finger in these, but it was my fault. I rock poked, and didn't rock punch. Order these big. 1 size up from optimal should do you well. Expect a decent break in time. Also, went from multiple cuts on my hands per season, to none.

    Sewn-in liner not so sewn-in…

Posted by Verified Buyer on Jul 1st 2024

“Interior liner is sewn-in, so it won’t pull out when you remove the glove”… not too impressed with this statement made by Hexarmor… I’ve had two pairs of these. The first pair the sewn-in liner pulled out when removing my hand from the glove after the first use of only having them for 3ish months…. The second pair I’ve used twice in the little over a year that I’ve owned them and again the sewn-in liner has pulled out when removing my hand from these gloves. Overall just not too impressed with the quality of these gloves.

Liner pulls out, don’t waste money

Posted by Verified Buyer on Jul 1st 2024

They claim that the inner liner is sewn in so it doesn’t pull out. I’ve had these for 2 calls and the liner already pulled out. Quite impossible to get it to go back in and stay. Not sure if this was a manufactured mistake or if they are all like this.

Hard to Put on and material rips easily

Posted by Thomas Staggs on Jul 1st 2024

The gloves ripped on the side of the middle finger with only a handful of uses. They are very hard to put on also and the inside barrier would come out when I take the gloves off.

    Not impressed with these gloves

Posted by Verified Buyer on Jul 11th 2019

Gloves are just under 1.5 years old not used much and already each glove two of the fingers sides ripped open. Used on maybe 5 car accidents and few trainings. Just noticed the holes during training the other night. The lining does pull out a little when taking gloves off. This seemed to get better as the glove got broke in. Liked the gloves until they ripped open.

    Very unhappy with this product.

Posted by Verified Buyer on Apr 24th 2019

I bought these gloves a little over a year ago and I am unhappy with how these gloves fit still. The interior lining gets bunched up whenever you pull your hand out of the glove and it makes it hard to get your glove back on. After washing them they are even harder to get on.

    Flashy gloves, Garbage liner

Posted by Verified Buyer on Oct 8th 2017

If your pulling them off and on repeatedly, the liner begins to separate and bunches up. So you spend 30min trying to put them on, instead of working. Sweat soaked hands are worthless trying to put these gloves on.

    Would buy again

I would reccomend this to others, comfortable, and great for vehicle rescue/normal usage. These gloves are very protective of your hands when it comes the laminate and safety glass. I would not reccomend purchasing these gloves if you are planning to do high angle rescues or other rescues that involve fine motor skills. The gloves are a little too bulky for what is needed for rope rescue. Glove has overal great durability. Just watch out for the liners because they are not stitched in and will pop out if you are not careful.
