    Served me well

Posted by Verified Buyer on Dec 13th 2012

I used these boots during my Firefighter I academy and they served me well. They were comfortable and supportive and made it easy to be on my feet all day. The sole has worn significantly as has the toe, but for the price this is to be expected. The traction is good on soft surfaces, however on the metal of the burn tower slipping was a common occurance. Overall I would recommend these boots to someone looking for a low cost pair of boots to wear for recruit academy or other training, but not for prolonged on the job use.

You get what you pay for.

The price on these boots is what they are cheap. If you're looking for a pair to just get you by these are them. But they wear out after a few years of moderate use.
