HELMET-MOUNTED TACTICAL LIGHT
The solution to firemen's hands-free lighting needs. Compact, powerful, shock-proof, and virtually indestructible!

With the Streamlight Vantage you won't find a helmet light any tougher. The Vantage's remarkably compact, lightweight body and inner workings were originally designed to withstand the shock-after-shock recoil of an automatic weapon in combat conditions.

Features:

  • Lightweight, compact, low profile design
  • Easily attaches/detaches above or below brim on fire helmets, industrial helmets and hard hats
  • Fits both traditional and modern style firefighter helmets
  • Tighten clamp with your fingers. No tools necessary!
  • C4 LED delivers 7,000 candela peak beam intensity; 115 lumens; 167 meter beam distance

Mounting bracket is a faulty design

Posted by Verified Buyer on Jul 1st 2024

Mounting bracket broke within months of use. Light would spin freely on the bracket. Once in a while spinning would catch some threads and retighten. Eventually light broke off bracket.

So far 8 years and still going

Posted by Verified Buyer on Jan 24th 2018

I got this light about 8 or so years ago. It's bright and stays in place. Big fan of the rear LED. A handful of guys at work have this light to. Mine has been in a handful of good workers and plenty of weather exposure. It's durbale and strong. Last year I had an issue with the light not turning on right away. I sent it to streamlight and about 3 weeks later I had a brand new light basically. I think the only original part was the shell. All new internal wiring and replaced both LEDs and all reflective decals. I'll always stick with streamlight if after 7 years of abuse they still stand by their product and take care of their customers. A little pricey for a small light, but if you only have to buy it once, that's worth it.

Easy to turn on and off even with gloves. Very bright in all situations. The mount attaches to the helmet easily and stays secure.

    Love this light

I've used this in strucure fires, and used it out on wildland fires and his light is amazing! It puts out plenty of light with the spot light function, and the flood light function is great in wildland settings!

Not cheap but it's worth it

Posted by Verified Buyer on Jul 9th 2016

I've had this since it came out. Doesn't take up a lot of space. If you wear ESS-type goggles on your helmet, the strap gets hung up on the light. The only real drawback I notice is that the set screw will dig into the brim of your leather helmet and then won't stay tight. Fixed this by putting a dime between the screw and brim
